Alison Turner

songwriter

Blending faith-forward storytelling with melodic, hook-driven country, 23-year-old Alison Turner is a Nashville-based songwriter originally from California’s Bay Area. Raised in church, worship shaped her ear early, but it was discovering songwriter rounds that changed everything. This awakened a desire to turn prayers, doubts and questioning into songs people could carry with them. Her writing pairs conversational honesty with emotional depth, capturing real life in all its tension — from doubt and heartbreak to surrender and hope.

After moving to Nashville to study Commercial Voice at Belmont University, Alison quickly established herself in writing rooms across the city. Before graduating, She independently co-wrote “Good for Nothing,” later released by Cory Asbury, a milestone that reflects her ability to blend vulnerability with spiritual resonance. Now signed to By Design, Alison continues building a catalog rooted in truth, faith, and choruses that linger long after the final note.
