Jillian Edwards is a singer/songwriter based in Franklin, TN. Whether she’s drifting through a daydream or reflecting on the intricacies of what it means to be human, Jillian changes the scene with a singular note. You can hear songs she’s written for TV/Film on shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Nashville, Pretty Little Liars, The Fosters, The Originals, Catfish, Love Island’s Beyond The Villa, and more. Her voice has also been featured on ads for Citi Bank, Payless, DignityHealth, and most recently on Disney+ original film, “Out Of My Mind.” Jillian’s most recent release is her 2024 original EP, Emotional Rollercoaster.
Edwards' music recording career started in 2009, with her self-released EP Galaxies & Such. Her next release, Headfirst, was released in 2011. The project was her first to chart on Billboard, where it placed on five charts: The Billboard 200 at No. 187, Folk Albums at No. 6, Rock Albums at No. 32, Independent Albums at No. 28, and Heatseekers Albums at No. 2. In 2014, she released the studio album Daydream, which was placed on three Billboard magazine charts, where it peaked at No. 6 on Folk Albums, No. 33 on Independent Albums, and No. 6 on Heatseekers Albums.
Over the last decade, she has honed her craft, channelling her songwriting focus toward writing for TV/Film and collaborating with artists across multiple genres. A Texas native with country undertones, she continues to write songs reflective of her personal life through the lens of faith, motherhood, and finding beauty in the mundane.
